Walmart will Start Offering Holiday Deals Earlier this Year

Major American retailer Walmart intends on rolling out holiday deals for shoppers earlier this year. According to a new announcement made on Wednesday, the retail company will start offering holiday deals from midnight this Friday.

Steve Bratspies, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S., said in a statement to reporters that “We’re going to offer more savings, more ways to shop, more gifts to shop for and more fun in our stores than ever before. It’s all in an effort to make the shopping experience easy, the prices low and this holiday season the happiest one yet for our customers.”

Walmart will be offering its customers expanded services on buying gifts and increased access to over 500 toys exclusively sold in Walmart stores. The retailer will be selling toys from some of the leading brands like SwissTech, WoodWick, Hobby Kids Adventures, Hello Bello, Kindi Kids, Bobbi Brown, etc. The period for these offers will begin at least one week before last year’s holiday offer period.

The retail giant will try to make most of the holiday season as most other rivals will soon begin offering their own holiday offers. Walmart will be offering its customers a personalized gift finding an offer, access to check-out with a store associate without having to wait in the queues and order for online stuff right from the stores.

Apart from some of the holiday decor and Halloween merchandise sold at the stores, the locations will also be frequented by Santa. Customers will also have the option to shop through the Early Deals Drops offer on the retailer’s website. Customers shopping for items above the price of $35 can avail free NextDay delivery on a select range of over 220,000 items without signing up for a membership with the retailer.
